I already started a similar thread to this, but I thought I'd make this one slightly different and also make it a sticky. I will therefore remove the thread called "Anything The Matter?" and focus on this thread instead ... (though, thank you for replying to that thread, Archer)
I'm seeing a rather low post count in this forum right now, which I of course hope can change. I fully realize it is my job as admin to get a forum going, but the fact is out of [right now] 111 posts, I have 87 - and I have also noticed that most of the posts from members are not directly related to James Bond. I sort of assumed that since you signed up for this forum, you have an interest in James Bond ...
I thought this thread to could be a brain-storming thread -- thanks beck (Admin's Retreat) for suggesting that to me!! -- where you can let me know what kinds of topics you'd like to discuss in this forum. I have mainly tried started up opinion-threads until now, to let everybody discuss what they think and feel about variuos things related to Bond, but perhaps you'd like to talk about something else?
Please feel free to let me know how you feel, what you would like to see on this forum, in this thread - or if you want it kept private you can of course pm me! After all, this forum is here for its members, so I'll do my best to make a cool place for you guys!

Well, personally I'd say I do have an interest in James Bond, but my knowledge isn't that great since it was very long since I watched the old movies. I really like this forum a lot though!!! Keep up the great work Jessica!!
I would love to see some more games & quizzes..that would be cool!
I'll let you know if I can think of anything else...

I have decided on something ... Activity in this forum is slow right now, there are lots of members with 0 posts. I don't know if this is the right thing to do, but I am at least willing to give it a try.
I thought that posting "open" topics with very open questions, such as "What do you think of ...?" or "What's your favourite ...?" would get conversations going, but apparantly that hasn't happened yet. I am therefor going to start replying to these questions myself now. I really don't feel comfortable doing that, because deep down I think an admin's job is more to steer up conversations or getting them started, and then it's the members that are supposed to interact with eachother, but I'm thinking that maybe if I offer my opinion on stuff, that will make members start posting theirs.
If you think this is a bad idea - or if you have any comments regarding the forum and the way it's run at the moment, please don't hesitate to let me know!

well..I think if you post YOUR opinions on things maybe you inspire other members to also post theirs... so fingers crossed more members will start being active here. You're doing a great job Jessica, just hang in there and I'm sure this forum will get busy again

Thanks Annika, that was sort of the idea I had. I hope it'll work! At first I was a bit worried I would scare off members by posting all my opinions, but since post count is low now, I'll have to give it a try!

Thanks for the advice, I will certainly consider it! I am very inexperienced when it comes to role playing myself, so if I decide on that I will have to learn a bit more about it, and maybe also find some staff who'd be willing to supervise it.
